“Where is the line drawn between freedom of speech and complicity in terror? Iranian president Ahmadinejad is currently in New York, being feted by the media and the UN.
The media is a powerful weapon in the hands of extremists and terrorists. Ahmadinejad has already appeared on CBS’s 60 Minutes where he claimed that “Israel is not a nation” and that he is “against terrorism”.
Ahmadinejad is appearing via videolink at a National Press Club luncheon and is being given a platform at Columbia University where a dean says Columbia would issue a similar invite to Hitler under the same circumstances.
Giving Ahmadinejad a credible platform gives a degree of legitimacy to the crimes of the Iranian regime – why should he be given the opportunity to defend Iran’s criminal support for terror, Holocaust denial, calls for the destruction of Israel and the killing of American troops in Iraq?
As Attorney Nitsana Darshan-Leitner makes clear: “[The media] are every bit the supporters of the terrorist organizations that Tehran and Damascus are when they facilitate the publication of [terrorists'] messages.”
Don’t let Ahmadinejad’s dangerous publicity drive go unanswered. Please join a wide coalition and demonstrate. Use your freedom of expression to protest giving a platform to terrorism!“*

Now is the time for this generation to prove that they the courage to be the next “Greatest Generation” by protesting this despot. It is also time to withdraw funds from Columbia for hosting this outrageous platform from a known sponsor of state sanctioned terrorism.
Finally, justice for Leeanna Newman!
Posted in Illegal Immigrantion on September 19, 2007 by DocFor once the wheels of justice have turned quickly. A murderer will be going to jail for a long time. And rightfully so. Rigo Verto Guillen-Martinez could receive 23 to 30 years in prison without parole, or longer for the murder by vehicle of Ms. Newman and her unborn child back in February of 2007.
At the time of the murder, he had a blood alcohol level 3 times greater than the legal limit in North Carolina.
“Justice has been swift in this case. Less than eight months after the crash, the jury for the case was selected on Monday, and then the prosecution presented its case on Tuesday. Early Wednesday the defense spoke, but Guillen-Martinez’s attorney did not present any evidence or call any witnesses.
The jury was given its instructions shortly before noon and returned the verdict around 2:40 p.m. Wednesday.
Guillen-Martinez’s attorney had tried to convince the jury during closing arguments that the defendant was not guilty of murder because there was no malice in his actions. He pushed for the defendant to be found guilty of misdemeanor death by a motor vehicle.
The jury disagreed and even determined there were aggravating factors that mean Guillen-Martinez should serve an even longer sentence.” An he should. This was not his first conviction of DWI. When and if he serves his sentence, he should be sent back across the boarder. What is a shame, is the citizens of the United States have to pay the tab to keep him incarcerated.
Hopefully, he will be too old to drive when and if he survives his prison sentence. May he rot in his prison cell!
Time to speak my mind… Don’t trust most of the press!
Posted in Global War on Terrorism, Radical Islam, War on Terror on September 6, 2007 by DocLet’s get into our time machine and go back to Nov. 19, 2005. U.S. Marines are engaged in a fierce firefight in the a city of Haditha in the western Iraq province of Al Anbar.
The press tells a story of a “massacre” by the Marines of “at least 15, and allegedly all, of those killed were noncombatant civilians and all are alleged to have been killed by a group of United States Marines. Some allege the killings were retribution for the attack on a convoy of United States Marines with an improvised explosive device that killed Lance Corporal Miguel Terrazas.”
Other sourses report that the death toll was 24 including women and children: According to the Washington Post.com: “Aws Fahmi, a Haditha resident who said he watched and listened from his home as Marines went from house to house killing members of three families, recalled hearing his neighbor across the street, Younis Salim Khafif, plead in English for his life and the lives of his family members. “I heard Younis speaking to the Americans, saying: ‘I am a friend. I am good,’ ” Fahmi said. “But they killed him, and his wife and daughters.” The 24 Iraqi civilians killed on Nov. 19 included children and the women who were trying to shield them, witnesses told a Washington Post special correspondent in Haditha this week and U.S. investigators said in Washington. The girls killed inside Khafif’s house were ages 14, 10, 5, 3 and 1, according to death certificates.”
Well now we return to the present. Marines were placed on trial. The Corps was being disgraced by the press and the Congress was in an uproar over the behavior of American troops.
BUT low and behold, today come a story from NewsMax.com that there was an unblinking witness to the whole affair… a Scan Eagle unmanned aerial vehicle. The Scan Eagle was circling the battlefield during the entire battle and that there was continuous video feed from the Scan Eagle for 8 to 10 hours. What did the American public and the rest of the world see? One hour of heavily edited tape. CNN reported, “The video appears to show that, throughout that day, Marines engaged in fierce firefights and called in air strikes to level buildings – often with no definitive idea of who was inside.”
It is reported that “Someone, under the supervision of NCIS‘ (Naval Criminal Investigative Service), screened this video feed, and made the conscious decision to preserve only four segments of approximately 15 minutes each – according to the defense attorneys who received it upon discovery release,” our intelligence source confided.
“This 8 to 10 hours, viewed in its entirety, shows men in black, with weapons, fleeing the neighborhood of houses 1, 2, 3 and 4 [the area where the civilians and eight of the insurgents were killed]. It follows their route as they meet up with other insurgents throughout the city. It clearly demonstrates the magnitude of the insurgents’ organization, skill, and timing in attacking Marines.”
The video, he recalled, “shows them parking, exiting the vehicle, and entering the housing complex. It shows Marines assaulting the building, insurgents fleeing out the back of the building, and Marines falling back from the assault as the insurgents defend the house.”
Finally, the intelligence officer revealed, the full, undoctored Scan Eagle video “shows an insurgent, at the end of the day, under continuous observation from the air and under continuous pursuit and fire, emerge from a family’s home holding their children hostage, in order to protect himself from further air strikes.” Such cowards.
When is the press going to start acting as a news gathering organization and report the FACTS? Most likely only when someone that the press people like is elected president. Until then they will continue to use their modern form of yellow journalism to discredit every event the military does to improve the lives of the Iraqi’s and any event that will show that our President is doing the very best he can to come to a satisfactory conclusion to this war.
