TALIBAN USING HUMAN SHIELDS
For once it’s nice to see that some news services have the courage to pick up a story that reports the truth about the Radical Islamic Terrorists. This is what a lot of folks have believed for a long time… they have no regard for human life, even that of their fellow countrymen.
The use of human shields should be a hot topic for the radical left. One would think that this would be rich fodder about certain news organizations planting “disinformation by the White House and the Military. I don’t see any outcry from an of them. How can this possibly be?
I looked over at Media Matters and News Hounds but it looks like they missed the story. I was sure the Democratic Underground would be certain to carry this hot news item as would Think Progress, but wow, was I wrong!
I guess it must not be a hot news topic for the mainstream Radical Left websites but surely the Lefty bloggers would be hot for this. So I jumped over to Michael Moore’s site to see what he had to say about this breaking news story… Nada! Can you believe it? Okay, may be Mikey is more interested in his films and health care, but I was digging for a hard core blogger now. So the folks over at Far-Left Bloggers Union would have seen how this was a conservative topic that needed to be blasted, but for some reason, they were quiet too, even at their ‘‘War on Terror” Category.
Guess it now time to reveal the story that is too hot for the mainstream human rights groups and radical left bloggers to handle.

Taliban using human shields
TALIBAN militants used Afghan civilians as human shields during a battle with US forces in eastern Afghanistan, that left 20 Taliban and one civilian dead, and 11 civilians wounded.
The joint Afghan-Nato operation was launched in an area next to the border with Pakistan – with artillery fire and air strikes.
Major Charles Anthony said: “After talking with elders in the area it does seem the Taliban are using civilians as human shields.”

The White House mentioned the event in a press release. In that press release, with NATO Secretary General de Hoop Scheffer, President Bush stated “Let me comment on that real quick. The Taliban likes to surround themselves with innocent civilians. That’s their — part of their modus operandi. They don’t mind using human shields because they devalue human life. That’s why they’re willing to kill innocent people to achieve political objectives.”
A quick check of Human Rights Watch website didn’t reveal any mention of the story. No mention on the Amnesty Internal website either. It appears it’s not a hot topic for Journalist for Human Rights or International Helsinki Federation for Human Rights either.
Why so little coverage on this important story? Because the story makes the U.S. Military, NATO and President Bush look correct in what they have been saying for a long time. The Radical Islamic Terrorist are cowards, have no respect for human life and are no more than plain street thugs.
