Kseniya Simonova’s Amazing Sand Drawing
A beautiful sand painting of the horrors of war. I just wish I could understand the words.
Don’t dare to miss this amazing Video Clip . . first read it properly..
This video shows the winner of ” Ukraine’s Got Talent”, Kseniya Simonova, 24, drawing a series of pictures on an illuminated sand table showing how ordinary people were affected by the German invasion during World War II. Her talent, which admittedly is a strange one, is mesmeric to watch.
The images, projected onto a large screen, moved many in the audience to tears and she won the top prize of about £75,000.
She begins by creating a scene showing a couple sitting holding hands on a bench under a starry sky, but then warplanes appear and the happy scene is obliterated.
It is replaced by a woman’s face crying, but then a baby arrives and the woman smiles again. Once again war returns and Miss Simonova throws the sand into chaos from which a young woman’s face appears.
She quickly becomes an old widow, her face wrinkled and sad, before the image turns into a monument to an Unknown Soldier.
This outdoor scene becomes framed by a window as if the viewer is looking out on the monument from within a house.
In the final scene, a mother and child appear inside and a man standing outside, with his hands pressed against the glass, saying goodbye.
The Great Patriotic War, as it is called in Ukraine , resulted in one in four of the population being killed with 11 million deaths out of a population of 42 million.
Kseniya Simonova says:
“I find it difficult enough to create art using paper and pencils or paintbrushes, but using sand and fingers is beyond me.. The art, especially when the war is used as the subject matter, even brings some audience members to tears.. And there’s surely no bigger compliment.”
JOE LEGAL vs. JOSE ILLEGAL
Posted in Uncategorized with tags Government Affairs, Illegal Immigrantion, Ridiculous on December 16, 2009 by DocJOE LEGAL vs. JOSE ILLEGAL
You have two families: “Joe Legal” and “Jose Illegal”. Both families have two parents, two children, and live in California …
Joe Legal works in construction, has a Social Security Number and makes $25.00 per hour with taxes deducted.
Jose Illegal also works in construction, has NO Social Security Number, and gets paid $15.00 cash “under the table”.
Ready? Now pay attention…
Joe Legal: $25.00 per hour x 40 hours = $1000.00 per week, or $52,000.00 per year. Now take 30% away for state and federal tax; Joe Legal now has $31,231.00.
Jose Illegal: $15.00 per hour x 40 hours = $600.00 per week, or $31,200.00 per year. Jose Illegal pays no taxes. Jose Illegal now has $31,200.00.
Joe Legal pays medical and dental insurance with limited coverage for his family at $600.00 per month, or $7,200.00 per year. Joe Legal now has $24,031.00.
Jose Illegal has full medical and dental coverage through the state and local clinics at a cost of $0.00 per year. Jose Illegal still has $31,200.00.
Joe Legal makes too much money and is not eligible for food stamps or welfare. Joe Legal pays $500.00 per month for food, or $6,000.00 per year. Joe Legal now has $18,031.00.
Jose Illegal has no documented income and is eligible for food stamps and welfare. Jose Illegal still has $31,200.00.
Joe Legal pays rent of $1,200.00 per month, or $14,400.00 per year. Joe Legal now has $9,631.00.
Jose Illegal receives a $500.00 per month federal rent subsidy. Jose Illegal pays $500.00 per month, or $6,000.00 per year. Jose Illegal still has $ 31,200.00.
Joe Legal pays $200.00 per month, or $2,400.00 for insurance. Joe Legal now has $7,231.00.
Jose Illegal says, “We don’t need no stinkin’ insurance!” and still has $31,200.00
Joe Legal has to make his $7,231.00 stretch to pay utilities, gasoline, etc.
Jose Illegal has to make his $31,200.00 stretch to pay utilities, gasoline, and what he sends out of the country every month.
Joe Legal now works overtime on Saturdays or gets a part time job after work.
Jose Illegal has nights and weekends off to enjoy with his family.
Joe Legal’s and Jose Illegal’s children both attend the same school. Joe Legal pays for his children’s lunches while Jose Illegal’s children get a government sponsored lunch.
Jose Illegal’s children have an after school ESL program.
Joe Legal’s children go home.
Joe Legal and Jose Illegal both enjoy the same police and fire services, but Joe paid for them and Jose did not pay.
Do you get it, now?
If you vote for or support any politician that supports illegal aliens…
You are part of the problem!
It’s way PAST time to take a stand for America and Americans!
Enough to make your blood boil!
Posted in Uncategorized with tags Al Qaida, Another failed lesson, Arabic interpreters, Fort Hood, Guantanamo Bay Prison, radical Islamic extremists, Sloppy intelengence work, United States Government on December 14, 2009 by DocIn a story from World Tribune comes a story that there may be a spy network helping the prisoners in Guantanamo Bay Prison. These Arabic interpreters, hired by the United States Government. Once again our own government has let the American people down. What happened to the complete background checks on these traitors? Why weren’t rechecked on a yearly bases? When is the government going to learn that you can’t trust any Muslim. Remember Fort Hood? Again sloppy work by our intelengence community lead to American deaths.
The US needs to take the stand that you do not let a Muslim do any work when it comes to dealing with radical Islamic extremists. Keep them (Muslims) out of the training camps, keep them out of our bases and secure military bases and when they are needed, keep a very short chain on them and always have two rifles pointed at them at all times.
Again we have not learned from the lessons of Vietnam. There they had access to our bases where they carefully mapped out, fuel, ammunition dumps, command bunkers and communication bunkers along with every firing pit so they could train their mortars and artillery on these key positions. Another failed lesson to win the heart and minds of our enemies.
U.S. agencies investigating interpreters suspected of helping Al Qaida at Gitmo
WASHINGTON — The FBI and other U.S. agencies are investigating allegations that Arabic interpreters helped Al Qaida detainees at the U.S. Navy prison in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
Law enforcement sources said up to 10 Arabic and Pashtu linguists employed by the U.S. military were being investigated on suspicion that they helped Al Qaida inmates conceal information during interrogations at Guantanamo.
Almost all of the suspected interpreters were hired on a contractual basis by the Defense Department in the aftermath of the Al Qaida suicide strikes on New York and Washington in 2001.
“The possible new spy ring involves several Arabic linguists, some also Egyptian and Syrian immigrants,” Paul Sperry, a leading analyst on Al Qaida at the Hoover Institution, said.
These traitor should be treated as any spy in war time and tied to a post and shot. No reading of Miranda Rights, no nice comfy jail cell and no fancy suited bleeding hearted Liberal attorneys, just tied up an shot.
Enabling ACORN’s Comeback

Enabling ACORN’s Comeback
By Matthew Vadumon 12.10.09 @ 6:08AM
Congress — and possibly Citigroup — may be gearing up to start funding the organized crime syndicate ACORN again. The current federal funding ban expires Dec. 18.
On Tuesday evening the House Appropriations Committee rejected on a party line vote of 9 to 5 an amendment offered by Rep. Tom Latham (R-Iowa) that would have blocked federal funding of the radical advocacy group.
The amendment was needed because the Obama administration thumbed its nose at a provision in spending legislation that banned ACORN funding until the end of next week.
In a ruling revealed late last month by the Justice Department the Obama administration invented a loophole allowing the government to continue funding the president’s friends at ACORN. Through the magic of legal interpretation, the language forbidding funding the group was transformed by Acting Assistant Attorney General David J. Barron into a requirement not “to refuse payment on binding contractual obligations that predate” the original funding ban.
Latham’s amendment would have closed the loophole by banning funding for ACORN, including any funding covering “a contract or other agreement entered into before the date of the enactment of this or any such other Act.”
The bottom line is that the ACORN funding prohibition language remains in the massive fiscal 2010 spending measure taken up by appropriators this week but ACORN ally Eric Holder’s Justice Department has rendered that language virtually meaningless.
The Obama administration’s bailout of ACORN may help keep the financially distressed group that had been considering filing bankruptcy before Christmas open for business.
The bailout should be music to the ears of Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.), a huge fan of ACORN who has given thousands of dollars over the years to the ACORN network. Nadler urged ACORN’s lawyer to sue the government, arguing that a ban on funding constituted a “bill of attainder.” Within weeks, ACORN took his advice.
This wouldn’t be much of a problem except that Nadler is head of a congressional subcommittee that might have to investigate ACORN. So far he has resisted calls to launch an inquiry into ACORN’s wrongdoings.
If this isn’t grounds for a congressional ethics probe, I don’t what is.
I suspect Nadler might even be a member of ACORN. I asked his testy communications director Ilan Kayatsky this question a few days ago and all I got was a snarky, error-filled email that didn’t answer my question.
Citigroup may also be on the verge of funding ACORN again.
Before ACORN issued a sham report exonerating itself from allegations of wrongdoing, Citigroup CEO Vikram Pandit said his company was awaiting the ACORN-sponsored inquiry into the group’s corruption that was prompted by the emergence this fall of several hidden-camera videos.
The videos show ACORN employees across America eager to help a couple posing as a pimp and prostitute use government funding to open a brothel staffed by child prostitutes smuggled illegally into the country.
While that evidence was initially enough to convince Congress to cut off funding for the criminal group, it wasn’t enough for Pandit. Asked if he could envision Citi permanently cutting financial ties to ACORN, he said it “completely depends” on the outcome of the report.
Yesterday Citi spokeswoman Andrea Hurst confirmed a decision hasn’t yet been made on re-funding ACORN. “We are reviewing all materials,” she told me in an email.
Citi is a Big Government lovers’ bank that has long been a slave to left-wing fads. In what should be a gentlemen-start-your-engines moment for class-action lawyers representing Citi shareholders, in October the bank won an award for being the “Most Innovative Bank in Climate Change.” Citi and a host of other huge corporations may be rich targets to hit when the unraveling in progress of Al Gore’s anthropogenic global warming swindle is complete.
Citigroup’s charitable foundation has given ACORN affiliates more than $1 million since 2003. It has funded ACORN Institute ($500,000 in 2007), ACORN Baltimore ($5,000 in 2003), ACORN Child Care Providers for Action ($4,000 in 2003), and American Institute for Social Justice ($500,000 in 2005).
The foundation has also funded other left-wing groups including Jesse Jackson’s Rainbow/PUSH Coalition, World Resources Institute, Aspen Institute, Rainforest Alliance, and the Council on Foreign Relations.
Meanwhile, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) is concerned that a proposed “Consumer Financial Protection Oversight Board” may give ACORN a voice in shaping financial regulations.
Provisions creating the oversight board are included in legislation that would establish a federal banking bureaucracy to be called the “Consumer Financial Protection Agency.”
Bachmann said yesterday that the vague wording of the legislation (HR 4173) would allow representatives from ACORN to sit on the board.
“Groups such as ACORN that have been indicted in more than a dozen states for voter registration fraud and other crimes have shown that they are incapable of adhering to even the most basic standards of ethics. They should neither play a role in overseeing our nation’s financial system nor be eligible for federal funding.”
ACORN was a pioneer in using the Community Reinvestment Act, enacted in 1977, to blackmail banks. Today it is pushing to expand the reach of the law, even though it played a role in the subprime mortgage meltdown.

“YOU CAN’T HANDLE THE TRUTH”
Posted in Uncategorized with tags A Few Good Men, COLONEL DONALD J. MYERS USMC, November 2010, President Clinton lied on November 18, 2009 by Doc“YOU CAN’T HANDLE THE TRUTH”
by COLONEL DONALD J. MYERS USMC (Ret)
You can’t handle the truth are famous words in the movie “A Few Good Men.” A Marine at Gitmo is killed and an investigation shows that the command was possibly implicated in his death. Jack Nicholson plays the colonel in charge who is being questioned at a court martial by the trial counsel (prosecuting attorney) about a “Code Red.” The trial counsel asks if the colonel ordered the “Code Red” and the judge interjects that the colonel does not have to answer the question. Nicholson says that he will answer the question and asks if the trial counsel wants an answer and the trial counsel says that he deserves an answer and he wants the truth. That’s when Nicholson responds with “you can’t handle the truth” and then goes into a diatribe about the military defending the country and what that can entail. It is a classic speech that portrays what defending this country can involve. Today, with some of our troops on multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan facing continuous threats on a daily basis, I am sure that they can relate to what Nicholson said. Veterans of our other wars can also relate.
Telling the truth appears to be a trait that too many of our countrymen seem to take too lightly. When President Clinton lied under oath before a grand jury, a large percentage of people said that it was only about sex and almost everyone lies about that. The papers even came out with studies about how lying was not a big deal and as long as an individual did his job, lying should not matter. Do most people believe that? Perhaps I am an idealist, but I suspect that most of my friends do not believe that. Kouzes and Posner, well known writers and researchers on leadership, state that integrity is consistently the leading trait that people expect from their leaders. That includes a large number of other nations as well as the USA. Unless I’m wrong, truthfulness is part of integrity and a large part to boot. If you can’t believe what a person says, then what difference does it matter what he says?
The American people have not had a high opinion of our congress for quite some time and it continues to decline as more and more of these esteemed individuals can’t seem to tell the truth about almost anything. We are constantly told that the spending spree by government is the only way to move the nation out of this recession and yet our common sense screams, “That is stupid and makes no sense.” We are told that a health care bill will add millions of new people to the rolls and it will not cost more. Again we scream, “That is stupid and makes no sense.”
When we try to ask serious questions to our elected officials we are treated like dunces and in some cases almost told that. Is it wrong to expect a direct answer to a direct question? Unfortunately too many politicians attend instructions about how to present an issue without being specific. Typically, they go into their stump speeches. I do not want or need an elected official to recite campaign rhetoric. I want answers to specific questions, not postures. I am totally upset about blowhards preaching about things that they know nothing about.
What do we do when times are difficult? Our own economies have also taken hits during the last two years, but most sane individuals are not spending like there is no tomorrow. In many many cases families are doing what they have always done in this country- they are helping each other. We are demanding that this government also do its part and stop the spending but so far our demands are falling on deaf ears. In addition to not telling the truth, our elected officials think that we will continue to be complacent and that we will continue to support them no matter what happens. They are living in a dream world within the Washington beltway and have little or no appreciation about the rest of the country. The representatives all go home to their states or districts throughout the year, but their aides who truly write the legislation remain in Washington and continue to believe that they know what is good for the country and influence their bosses.
A tidal wave of concerned and patriotic citizens is developing throughout the country and our elected officials are ignorant of it. Those individuals who do not face reelection this coming November are not concerned, and many of those who are up for reelection are in safe seats no matter what they do. November 2010 will be a revolution that makes 1994 look like a small wave. I believe that several safe seat holders also will be surprised. We are tired of officials moving this great nation into an abyss and will stop it. We want the truth and we can handle it.
Time for clean language!
Posted in Uncategorized with tags Best Little Whore House in Washington, Nancy Pelosi, nasty language, Pelosi on November 14, 2009 by DocUNSAVORY & NASTY BARN YARD LANGUAGE
Years ago, when I sometimes used unsavory language, I often used the expression “Bull S***.” As I grew up a bit and discovered it was not necessary to use such crude language, that expression became “BS.”
Q. What did I really mean when I used those expressions?
A. I meant that something was ridiculous, or idiotic or a half truth or just plain stupid. It covered any number of negative formats. The dictionary defines it as: nonsense; especially : foolish insolent talk…
I have decided that I no longer will use either of those expressions in the future. When I have a need to express such feelings, I will use the word “Pelosi.” Let me use it in a sentence. “That’s just a bunch of Pelosi..” I encourage you to do the same. It is such a nasty word. It really packs a lot of punch. We are no longer being vulgar. But it clearly expresses our feelings If enough of us use it, perhaps the word could be entered into the dictionary. When on a ranch watch your step and don’t step in that Pelosi. It will get on the bottom of your boot, stink, and won’t go away until next election. What an descriptive legacy for the current Speaker of the House!

MADAM Of The Best Little Whore House in Washington!
